MUSICAL THEATRE

Our program strives to offer professional, high caliber instruction covering the main components of musical theatre- singing, acting and dance. These are explored through exercises, activities, rehearsals and performances in an environment that is fun, encouraging and inclusive. Musical Theatre is a collaborative program that promotes personal growth by building self confidence, perseverance, teamwork, and many other life skills they extend beyond the stage!

BEGINNER

KINDERGARTEN - GRADE 2

Beginner musical theatre for kids provides an enriching and enjoyable experience, introducing children to the world of theatre, music, and dance. It encourages creativity, imagination, and self-expression. Students are featured in a couple of musical numbers for our Spring production.

JUNIOR

GRADES 3-12

Junior musical theatre allows performers to develop and explore their skills in singing, dancing, and acting, and delve deeper into the artistry and complexities of musical theatre. Students will perform in ensemble group numbers in our Spring production. No audition is required for this class!

SENIOR

GRADES 7-12

Senior musical theatre focuses on the performance aspects of musical theatre, combining elements of acting, singing and dancing in a collaborative setting. Students will perform in the ensemble for our senior musical theatre production as well as other performance opportunities.

ADULT

18+

Now adults can explore the world of musical theatre! Have some fun while learning musical numbers from your favourite Broadway shows and presenting them in recitals throughout the year. No experience required!
